India, who are currently in the second position in the group and will remain there even if they lose against Wales, need to win by a margin of 8 goals to get above the English in terms of goal difference.
If India win by a margin of less than 8 goals, they would still finish second in the group and would have to play a cross-over against a third placed team from Group C which are New Zealand to get to the quarterfinal.
